Okay at 30-something I don’t feel that old. But according to my just turned 6 year old I am. This was our conversation a couple days ago:
Con Man: are you old?
me: I don’t think I am, what do you think?
Con Man: I think you are old
me: why do you think that?
Con Man: because you have gray hair and are boring
me: so if you are boring and have gray hair that makes you old?
Con Man: not always, but for you, yeah you’re old
me: well I don’t think that’s very nice
Con Man: I was just kidding, you’re not really old
Nothing like a little guy and his honesty to remind you that you are no longer a spring chicken. I don’t mind getting older but I don’t need my kiddlets to remind me about it!
